A New Constitution The Constitution of 1787 was a masterpiece for it's time. Unfortunately, the authors left too much for granted (including the integrity of public officials), allowing massive abuses of individual liberty by our government. I think it is time we all gave serious thought to reforming the Constitution on a broader scale then a few individual amendments. Here is my own proposal, which I believe has merit. Most of it comes from the Constitution of 1787 and the Articles of Confederation, with a large number of modifications of my own. |
